Since this is mainly a blog about all things sneaker related, I thought an Air Jordan birthday cake should have its own post. This is the 1 of a kind Air Jordan 3 inspired birthday cake created for my friend Vashtie Kola A.k.A the Queen Of 3's.

Tonight was a special night for a very good friend. Vashtie Kola A.k.A Va$h A.k.A The Queen of 3' (Jordan 3's) celebrated her birthday at Santos Playhouse. New York Based Artist and "It Girl", Va$htie, has been known in the entertainment and underground scene for years. She's achieved success as a Music Video Director, Artist, Creative Director and Party Promoter while being featured for her work in notable publications such as; The New York Times, Daily News, i-D, Trace, Paper, etc. This time she's embarked in the fashion world, finally debuting a line she's been perfecting since 2000.

Amongst the overload of brands launching every season, Vashtie never found one brand that consistently represented her tomboy flair and high fashion sensibility.


With this in mind, VIOLETTE was established in a lane of it's own. Inspired by uptown and downtown, hip hop and rock, feminine and masculine, casual and couture; VIOLETTE is a mix of opposite worlds that meshes fashion forward with street swagger.

Show is finally out of the hospital. For all of those that didn't know i had to get surgery awhile ago on my jaw. It started acting up (got infected) july 6th after I saw that awful Transformers movie. I was in the hospital for 8 days but finally "The Show Has Comeback To Brooklyn!!!". Happy to be out, I did what anyone else would have done. I visited my friends Geene & Hasan at their sneaker boutique WEALTHY HO$TAGE for a taping of Rap City. Where host Q45, the Rap city crew along with sneaker connoisseurs, City, Kwado & myself showed love.

After that I had to go the homies Vashtie & Oscar Wildes monthly 1992 party. Those parties are on point. Some of the best music was made during that time as far as rap & club music. Its good to go back in the days once a month especially with horrible stuff being produced currently. Now lets all hope that nothing happens to my jaw & I stay away from hospitals for a long time.
