Nike and NBA Champion Kobe Bryant completed the sixth consecutive Asian Tour stop on Sunday, July 26th, in Chengdu, China. This is the last stop of his Asia Tour.

Nike Kobe Asia Tour 2009 started on July,21 2009. Kobe had already made visits to Manila (July 21), Singapore (July 22), Taipei (July 23), Hong Kong (July 24) and Shanghai (July 25). Below is video highlights and photos from the tour.
On July 1st, Nike launched the Nike Dream Season performance shoe exclusively in Asia. Developed to meet the needs of outdoor basketball players in Asia, the Nike Dream Season was designed with insights from Kobe. The shoe will be a part of his signature collection.





Manila (July 21) highlights:
More than 1,500 people lined up for tickets to his event at the main basketball arena in Manila, including one woman who waited 17 hours to be sure she didn’t miss Kobe.


Singapore (July 22) highlights:
• More than 1,300 people waited for more than four hours to claim their seats at the event at Wisma Atria. More than 1,200 people watched Kobe make his way from Orchard Road to Nike Singapore, where nine kids from the Make-a-Wish Foundation saw their wish come true in the form of high-fives and handshakes from their idol.

Hong Kong (July 24) highlights:
Over 2,000 people attended the Kobe event at Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai Hong Kong, while hundreds of crazy fans crowded along Canton Road Tsim Sha Tsui, one of the busiest streets in Hong Kong, to await his appearance at the Nike Flagship store.

Kobe Bryant in Hong Kong 1

Nike and NBA Champion Kobe Bryant completed the fifth consecutive Asian Tour stop in as many days on Saturday, July 25, as he rolled through Shanghai, China. He moves onto his last stop with Nike in Chengdu, China on Sunday, July 26.

In Shanghai, Kobe taped a one-hour interview with one of the leading broadcast networks, STV, discussing the NBA Championships, his return to Shanghai, his unmatched training regimen, and the introduction of the new Dream Season outdoor performance basketball shoe. He also debuted new limited edition styles of the popular Nike Zoom Kobe IV, one celebrating his gold medal performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and one honoring his MVP performance in the 2009 NBA Championships. Both limited edition styles will only be available in China.

After an hour in the studio taping the show that will air later in the week, Kobe greeted hundreds of screaming fans at a nearby Nike store by signing a 20-foot image of Bryant and discussing the new Dream Season and Nike Zoom Kobe IV limited edition shoes.

Among the gifts bestowed on the 2009 Finals MVP:

• A five-fingered puppet with four rings, equal parts a celebration of his fourth NBA title and well-wishing on adding a fifth in the near future.
• A super-sized ring filled with cookies.

Thursday, July 23rd, NBA Champion Kobe Bryant visited Taipei, Taiwan as the 3rd stop in Nike Basketball tour of Asia. There he held a basketball clinic at Taiwan National University where he met with fans and talked about winning the NBA championship.
